Steven Creber

"As usual the fruit for this release is grown on the highly regarded White Hills Vineyard. The aromas run the gamut from scented herbs through just-squeezed citrus to sweeter blossom like notes. The palate shows the soft-but-pinpoint intensity that Tasmanian riesling can achieve, brimming with juicy flavours, but taut and precise, the acidity fine yet unwavering."

Huon Hooke

"Very intense fragrance, brilliant and alive. Terrific lively palate, crisp, high acid, very bracing. Superb. Intense, fresh, lively. A long-term wine."

Viticulture

Viticulture

The 2017 vintage at White Hills Vineyard was characterised by a dry growing season and below average temperatures for January and February. Crop level were relatively low and disease pressure was minimal. All this resulted in full ripeness of fruit and harvest at an optimal time.
